The Institute for Theoretical Chemistry and the Faculty of Chemistry of the University of Vienna present the Symposium on "Molecular Systems: From Chemistry to Evolution", to be held in Vienna from 7^th to 8^th October 2011.

The Symposium is dedicated to Professor Emeritus Peter Schuster on the occasion of his 70^th birthday.

The meeting is devoted to highlight recent research on evolutionary concepts in the fields of chemistry and biology.

Especially young participants are encouraged to contribute posters. A Poster Award will be given to the best (presented) poster assigned by an independent committee.
